Coaching for the Difficult Conversations

When change and reorganisation are underway in an organisation then inevitably this leads to difficult conversations with staff, clients and business stakeholders . Therefore the need to practice this type of conversation before undertaking them is essential in order to ensure that the message is delivered accurately and in an empathetic manner.

Often a great deal of planning goes into the content of these conversations but very little into how they are delivered, this can often lead to misunderstanding, tension and conflict.

Practicing these coversations in a safe environment with me is ideal.  I give feedback as to how I felt about the meeting, what worked and what did not. Using coaching techniques with the participant we will come up with other approaches that may be more suited to the situation and the recipient.

I feel  sure that you, your clients and your colleagues will find the sessions interesting and valuable for all interpersonal interactions and particularly those difficult conversations!

Coaching to improve Sales Pitch

How often do you wish that you had just rehearsed that little bit more, or even at all, for that important pitch, not just the words, but very importantly, the delivery?  Now is your chance to do just that.

Rehearse real complex internal or external presentations receiving immediate feedback on how the presentation landed, the messages that are coming across, and how they now feel about you as individuals, a team and as an organisation.

Executive Development

In simulations I can play many different roles from the CEO, CFO through to the underperforming staff member, creating characters that challenge the participant in a way that enhances their learning and development experience.

I am confident and skilled at giving focussed and developmental feedback following role play sessions. Typically this may involve asking the participant what went well in the session, giving feedback on how the character felt, followed by a discussion on areas for development.
