During periods of change whether that
is strategy planning, budgets, reorganisation, retrenchment or merger and
acquisition, many people within the organisation will have good ideas about how
issues and challenges can be solved. Often because of the pressures of the
change it is difficult for management to find the time to access these ideas. In
order to alleviate this situation I can facilitate team meetings and steering
groups within your organisation, coaching these ideas out and then help to put
them into a timed plan for implementation. With my Project planning and
financial background I understand how crucial it is for these ideas to be
harnessed, assessed and the good ones acted on in a timely fashion so that the
benefits accrue to the bottom line quickly and
effectively. During reorganisation and mergers
when new teams are being created from different organisation or cross cultural
backgrounds it can be very useful to bring them together with an independent
facilitator. The team will find that they are able to voice their concerns and
expectations in an open way and from this will come an understanding across the
group so that they can start to build together as a team for success in the
future.
