This is a full training day suitable for all abilities and offers the opportunity to both develop and fine tune existing skills. This workshop will provide you with practical skills to help you communicate better within business and personal relationships.

Many people are technically excellent in their specific area of expertise. In some instances they find it difficult to communicate this confidently and effectively to people who do not share that particular expertise.

If you find that this is the case then this is the day for you!

There will be lots of opportunity to get up and practice, so expect to be active for a lot of the day!

We will be covering:

• How to use your energy to improve communication.
  
• Understanding how a positive link between your voice, body and the words you use helps communication.
  
• Active Listening and incisive questioning skills.
  
• How messages get distorted along the way.
  
• Bringing this all together in an influencing session to identify the best ways of flexing your style to ensure your message is heard by the recipient.
  

NO PowerPoint just lots of one to one communication and feedback on what works well and what may need further development.

In addition, following the course, you are offered the opportunity of two fifteen minute phone calls with Patrick Bird. This is an opportunity to discuss any issues arising as a result of the day, or when trying to put the techniques into action on your return to the workplace. The intention is to help you embed the change into your everyday communications.
